Still one to go

Winter has been more or less what fall is supposed to be. Temperatures have not even dared to go near the freezing point. This has caused that plants have already gotten into spring-mode. I already have seen flowering snowdrops and the crocusses will not be far behind. Some daisies have never stopped flowering. The picture below reminded me of their presence in the lawn. It also reminded me that ladybugs (and most other insects) are happily hiding underground until spring is in full swing. In other words, one part of my favourite macro subjects are present (the flowers) and one is still absent (the insects). I will just have to dust my camera until they are both photographable.

  1. I’ve seen some people posting pictures of snow drops a few days ago, I find it very early in the season. Beautiful pictures!
